Corrosion Control Documents

How to build and maintain a corrosion control document for a process unit: the corrosion loops, the credible damage mechanisms in each, the process parameters that drive them, the monitoring in place and the mitigation being relied on. It is the written reasoning behind an inspection programme, and it is meant to be revised as the plant changes rather than filed once.

This is an explanation, not the standard. PipingInspector is not affiliated with API and reproduces no part of the document. Always work to the current edition of the standard itself and to your project specification.
