Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels
The construction code for pressure vessels. Division 1 uses design-by-rule formulas and is what most process vessels are built to; Division 2 allows design-by-analysis with tighter examination for a thinner, more expensive vessel. It governs shell and head thickness, opening reinforcement, joint efficiency, materials and hydrostatic testing.
