Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards
The regulations issued by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board that make specified international standards legally binding in India for city gas distribution, natural gas pipelines and LNG terminals. Their significance is that compliance is not a matter of project specification but of statutory obligation, and the T4S regulations name which edition of which standard applies. A civil integrity engineer meets them most often through the pipeline crossing, right-of-way and terminal civil requirements.
